Selena Gomez Hits the Beach in Midst of 'Breakdown' Rumours [PHOTOS]

In spite of all the drama happening on the web about Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, the lovely Latina is spending her days by the beach. For one, Selena Gomez doesn't look the least bit depressed despite the rumours of a breakdown that followed after her split from Justin Bieber.

Former Disney star, Selena Gomez has taken her own "Spring Break" along with friend, Francia Raisa. The beach buddies hit Malibu over the weekend in spite of the drama surrounding Selena Gomez. Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend has constantly been eyed by various tabloids all thanks to a few men she had been spotted with.

Last week, Selena was seen hanging out with Austin Mahone and David Henrie. Gomez's "Wizards of Waverly Place" co-star seems to be getting a bit too friendly of which "Selenators" have noticed. Some think that Selena and David are starting to be more than friends.

Apart from Gomez's latest love interest, Selena is also under fire from the press all thanks to a rumour that she is actually breaking down since her split from Justin Bieber. A source close to Gomez says that the break-up has caused an emotional toll on the "Come & Get It" singer.

An interview that had never aired on 99.9 FM Toronto Radio clearly explains why. A "playful" prank was pulled on Gomez which caused the exact opposite of fun.

"Selena was on a promotional tour for her new album, and she was at the station to tape a sit-down interview with the morning team of Mad Dog and Maura," says the source, adding, "The first thing her rep did was tell the staff that they could ask Selena no questions whatsoever about Justin."

"They suddenly played an audio tape of news clips about all of Justin's misbehaving, and they jokingly asked Selena to get back together with Justin, who was born in Canada, 'for the sake if out torn nation.' It clearly caught Selena off guard - and she began to cry!" stated the eyewitness at the station, adding, "People stood in the hallway in shock as Selena rushed sobbing from the studio, tears streaming down her cheeks," continued the source.

Well, judging from Selena's fresh look at the beach, this is nowhere close to what sources claim as a girl breaking down from a break-up.
