Selena Gomez Flirted with Derek Hough? [PHOTOS]

Selena Gomez might not have been at the Oscars 2013 Red Carpet event but she sure made it to the Vanity Fair Oscar after Party. Dressed in an Atelier Versace gown, Gomez partied the night away. Yet, rumour has it that Selena didn't party alone and that she was "flirting" with a good-looking blonde. Who was it and are the talks true?

Following the famous "Jelena" split, Gomez had been caught with four different men. By the looks of it, Gomez is eager to forget all about Justin Bieber. Apart from all the dates, "Spring Breakers" promotional tour has been keeping the 20-year old star busy.

Just last week, Gomez had been touring France to Rome for the Harmony Korine-directed film premiere. Along with Gomez for the ride were co-stars, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine. Now, Gomez had flown back to California with BFF, Vanessa Hudgens in time for Elton John's annual Vanity Fair Oscar after party.

Dressed in an Atelier Versace gown, Gomez once again stunned the crowd. Sources say, Gomez even managed to snag the eye of a certain hunk, Derek Hough. For those who don't know, Derek Hough is "Safe Haven's" star, Julianne Hough's brother. Being Julianne's brother isn't the only thing Derek is known for.

Derek has been on "Dancing with the Stars" alongside Nicole Scherzinger. Hough had been paired off with Scherzinger for almost three years and rumour has it that he'd be back for this coming season.

Getting back to Gomez, onlookers claim that Selena Gomez and Derek Hough were getting too close and personal. In fact, Derek Hough was having the time of his life chatting away with Gomez along with her friends, Vanessa Hudgens and Lily Collins.

The professional dancer even took to Instagram to post a photo of the four of them together with the caption, "Good times with vanessahudgens @selenagomez lillycollins Last night."

Could Derek Hough be Selena's new beau or was she simply being friendly? This doesn't count as the first time Gomez was seen getting chummy with good-looking men at red carpet events. Who could forget the rumour of Selena hooking up with Josh Hutcherson just last month?
