Selena Gomez might not be all too cute and innocent anymore.

The former Disney star has taken up the hype on BDSM novel that has got Hollywood in frenzy. Justin Bieber's' girlfriend has picked up "Fifty Shades of Grey" and by the looks of it Selena is hooked.

E.L. James' best-selling novel continues to rise up the charts in the list of books to read. Despite the S&M filled pages and BDSM themed love story, people who read the books continue to quadruple in number.

It is only proof that the world is ready for more bed scenes. Hollywood celebrities getting hooked are also multiplying in number and one 19-year old actress has joined the bandwagon.

With the "Spring Breakers" film already wrapped up and still awaiting the release for next year, Selena Gomez is busy with a few other projects. Selena's next film is "The Getaway" with Ethan Hawke, which is pretty much has a few action-packed scenes. Yet, judging from Selena's latest Twitter photo, the 19-year old wants other "action-pumping" scenes.

Gomez joins the bandwagon of "Twi-hard" fans that have picked up the novel "Fifty Shades of Grey". Despite being banned from over a hundred bookstores, readers still demand to get their hands on the book. Even Selena Gomez has her own copy but she hasn't reached the "juicy" parts yet.

"Catching up on some reading on set with Funny Or Die. Can't wait to show you the video we made tomorrow!," tweeted Selena on May 21. Even with the photo on Selena's account, there has been no word on what Justin Bieber's thoughts regarding Selena's new book.

Some webloids have already ramped up potential actresses to play the part of Anastasia Steele, the female protagonist in the novel. Stewart, Lawrence and Seyfried are just a few Hollywood celebs whose names have been mentioned as worthy actresses to portray Anna.

Fans of Selena Gomez think the 19-year old could also have the acting chops for the role. The question is: does Selena have the guts to play the racy scenes in the novel? Given Selena hasn't even started with the novel, would the 19-year old be able to finish all three BDSM-themed books?

With Lionsgate still working out a few details with the film, fans and readers of E.L. James' novel will just have to sit and wait.
