An eight-member strong team from “Outlander” is heading to San Diego Comic-Con. The panel is expected to tease details about season 3. Meanwhile, Diana Gabaldon’s new book has taken the #1 spot in Canada.

The panel from the Starz TV series will appear onstage on 21 July at 5 p.m. in Ballroom 20. Some fans will get to interact with team members at Booth 4029 the next day during the autograph signing.

Executive producer Ronald D. Moore, co-executive producer Maril Davis, author Diana Gabaldon, and cast members Caitriona Balfe (Claire Randall Fraser), Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser), Tobias Menzines (Black Jack/Frank Randall), Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall) and Richard Rankin (Roger Wakefield) will be attending the panel discussion. The team has promised to preview the next season during this event, but it’s not clear if a teaser trailer will be released.

Balfe is so excited for the event that she has started the countdown already. Actress Jenna Dewan Tatum will be moderating the panel discussion. Tatum described herself as a “fangirl” of the show, adding that she is “very excited” to be taking on this role at the event.

Reacting to the announcement of Tatum being the moderator, one fan suggested that she try performing the druid dance, and the actress agreed. The moderator also agreed to take inputs from fans for questions at the event.

Another big treat is a Q&A with Heughan before the event starts. The actor had promised on Twitter to answer questions on the way to the San Diego Comic-Con.

Meanwhile, Gabaldon announced that her book “Steven Stones” opened at the top of the bestseller list of Globe and Mail in Canada. The author thanked her fans for making this happen. Both Balfe and Heughan congratulated Gabaldon for the achievement.
