Princess Mary of Denmark is the top choice among Hello Magazine readers as the most sophisticated royal. She outshone the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, who landed on the third spot. Below are some of the highlights from Princess Mary’s fashion choices that prove she deserves the title of “most stylish royal.”

The Gloss has listed down some of the events where Princess Mary graced the public with her chic and sophisticated fashion sense. These include royal engagements she attended since 2012, such as the wedding of Prince Guillaume Of Luxembourg and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy on Oct. 19 and 20, 2012. The princess looked chic and stylish in a maroon peplum dress paired with a grey hat. A photo of the princess with her husband, Prince Frederik, is shared by the site.

Mary also looks great in a wrap dress, just like the Duchess of Cambridge. The future queen of Denmark presented the Loye Prize in 2012 wearing an orange wrap dress that perfectly complements her complexion and hair. The dress, as seen in this photo, is said to be a must-have in every woman’s wardrobe.

The Gloss says the mother of four always goes for simple and sleek fashion designs for her wardrobe choices but she’s all about the details and the fit. Her wardrobe reportedly also has that timeless quality in them. These include the blue floral dress she wore to her visit to Sydney, Australia with Prince Frederik in 2013 and the cream-coloured ensemble she wore to the Copenhagen Fashion Week in 2015. She looked sophisticated in a black and white ensemble as she visited Warsaw, Poland in May 2014.

The 43-year old Australian looks stylish in gowns, which is evident in this photo showing her wearing a silvery-mauve full-skirted gown to the wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Sofia Hellqvist in 2015. The princess also looked chic and sleek in her perfectly tailored gown which she wore to the Bambi Awards in 2014, as seen in this photo.

Hello Magazine says almost 30,000 of its readers voted Princess Mary as the ‘most stylish royal.” Queen Máxima of the Netherlands came in second followed by the Duchess of Cambridge. The publication describes Princess Mary having that “confidence of a woman who knows what works for her” when it comes to her fashion choices.
