The episode 7 of "American Horror Story" Season 4, which is subtitled "Freak Show," is called "Test Strength." In the last episode, Ethel told Elsa that she would kill her if she came to know that she is lying about the girls. If the upcoming episodes feature Ethel versus Elsa, it would be an interesting turn of events. And Elsa, she is not going to go down without a feisty fight to remain the Queen of the Freak Show and to grab the elusive fame.

Meanwhile, Dell, who did not appear in the last episode, is going to perform another violent act in the new episode. This is going to pit the women of the Freak Show against the strongman, according to the synopsis. The preview clip provides a glimpse of him smothering someone. It is likely to be either Ethel or Desiree. Also, in the episode, Dell is likely to react violently after finding out that Andy has disappeared [Dandy killed him in "Pink Cupcakes"].

Also in the episode, Jimmy is going to become suspicious about Dandy. In the last episode, Dandy's love for Dot and Bette evaporated after he read Dot's diary. He told his mother that he now sees his emptiness as a blessing and not as a curse and also that his true purpose on the earth is to bring death. When Jimmy visited the Mott's house looking for the girls, Dandy allowed him inside the house, telling his mother that he must be there for the twins.

In episode 7, Stanley is going to get desperate. In the preview, he is pointing a gun at someone. He is saying that he wants one of the freaks dead. It looks like he is likely to team up with Dell, as Maggie has not been much of a help. Also in the episode, Penny and Paul's love story is going to be explored further, as Penny can be seen telling her father in the preview that she is in love with Paul and that she is going go with him. Her father, however, is in a threatening mood.
