India is still searching for its first win after eight matches since November 24. With just 24 days remaining before the World Cup, Mahendra Singh Dhoni suggests to do a ‘Gilchrist’.

On Tuesday, India’s skipper blamed his batsmen for the lack of partnership, which contributed to the collapse of the team to 153 all out before slumping to a nine-wicket loss in their match against England.

"I don't think we batted well, especially after choosing to bat," Dhoni said, who thinks that his batsmen did not play well. He claimed that they need to build partnership but it did not happen.

"It's important from now on to be fresh, to assess carefully as to whether we need to spend more time on the field or we need to switch off from cricket," Dhoni said in a post-conference after the defeat against England.

Although the Indian failed for the second time in three days, he remains optimistic. He said that criticisms are part of the game and he even suggested to his batsmen to do a Gilchrist.

For the Indian, his boys need to follow Australian legend Adam Gilchrist. He said it is best to go out and express oneself when scores are not coming. It is something that Adam Gilchrist used to do very well, which often helps.

The Indian revealed that being away from home is very demanding. His team will be in Australia for quite some time because the World Cup is starting next month and he said that they need to maximise the time that is left in a useful manner.

Meanwhile, England secured its first win since its loss to Australia in the tournament-opener. Skipper Eoin Morgan is delighted at the outstanding team and individual performance of his men despite being a victim of a recent blackmail attempt. According to a report, the England Cricket board received e-mails making accusations to England's one day captain and asking for a five-figure sum of money.
