The next episode of “Scream: The TV Series” will continue to reveal secrets following the leak of a sex video. The released synopsis and sneak peek video for “Scream: The TV Series” episode 4 titled “Exposed” teases that Emma Duval, played by Willa Fitzgerald, will find out that her friends have been lying to her.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major spoilers on MTV’s new horror series titled “Scream: The TV Series.”

In the previous episode titled “Aftermath,” Emma was shocked to see that her sex video with boyfriend Will Belmont, played by Connor Weil, got leaked in Lakewood. A brief synopsis for “Scream: The TV Series” episode 5 titled “Exposed” in TV Guide teased that Emma’s world will continue to be turned upside down.

Emma will find out about a “heartbreaking secret” in the upcoming new episode following the shocking video leak that happened in the fourth episode of the new MTV series. On Wednesday, July 22, MTV Network shared the official episode 5 sneak peek video on YouTube to tease that Emma’s friends are keeping secrets from her.

The video description reveals that Brooke Maddox, played by Carlson Young, and Jake Fitzgerald, played by Tom Maden, knows about something that happened in freshman year and they are keeping it from Emma. However, Brooke is starting to crack.

In the sneak peek video, Jake and Brooke have a conversation at the coffee shop. Jake asks what is making Brooke so edgy.

Brooke tells Jake that she thinks someone should tell Emma about what really happened in freshman year. Jake responds that Brooke cannot do that to Will because he is already at a breaking point.

Brooke finally reveals that she cannot just keep lying to Emma anymore. Emma, who is serving a customer nearby, hears Brooke so she asks her about the secret that Jake and Brooke are keeping from her. “Do what you gotta do,” Jake tells Brooke before leaving the two girls to talk. In episode 2 titled “Hello, Emma,” the mysterious Ghostface killer told Emma that he or she will be showing her the truth about who she really is and the people she trusts, like her family and friends, are lying to her.

“Scream: The TV Series” returns on Tuesday night, July 28, with episode 5 titled “Exposed.” The brand new episode will air at 10/9c on MTV.
