'Scream: The TV Series' Episode 9 spoilers: Ghostface killer still on the loose in promo video
Who is the real Ghostface killer? Did the Lakewood police department capture the wrong guy? The promo video of “Scream: The TV Series” episode 9 on YouTube suggests that Mr. Branson is not the Ghostface killer or there is another killer on the loose, even though Audrey Jensen, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Noah Foster, played by John Karna, found enough evidence in the previous episode (“Ghosts”) to implicate their English teacher (Bobby Campo).
“Scream: The TV Series” episode 9 titled “The Dance” will air on Tuesday night, Aug. 25, at 10/9c on MTV.

Sheriff Clark Hudson, played by Jason Wiles, appears to be the next victim of the Ghostface killer as teased in the promo video. The Ghostface killer’s presence in the promo video could mean suspect Seth Branson has an accomplice or the police captured the wrong guy.
According to the next episode’s synopsis in TVGuide, Emma will also have doubts that the actual Ghostface killer has been captured by the police, and she teams up with Piper to search for answers at the school’s Halloween dance.
CarterMatt speculates that “Scream: The TV Series” character Piper Shaw, played by Amelia Rose Blair, is the real person behind the Ghostface mask. Maggie Duvall, played by Tracy Middendorf, had revealed to her daughter Emma, played by Willa Fitzgerald, about having a child with Brandon James during her teens.
Maggie further revealed to Emma that she gave up the child for adoption. “I didn’t even know if it was a boy or a girl,” Maggie confesses to her daughter.
If Maggie’s first born child is a girl, podcaster Piper Shaw could be Emma’s older half-sister and the Ghostface killer that has been terrorising Emma. If so, this storyline would echo the revelations of the third installment of the “Scream” movie franchise, which stars Neve Campbell as the lead female character Sidney Prescott.
It was revealed in “Scream 3” that the Ghostface killer was Sidney’s older half-brother Roman Bridger, played by Scott Foley.
