In MTV’s “Scream: The TV Series," Episode 4 titled "Aftermath," some characters started to search for answers regarding the brutal deaths of their friends. Emma, Audrey and Noah’s quest led them to the mysterious killer’s lair. It had some answers that they were looking for. But the mission ended badly for one character because another scandal video got leaked.

Emma Duval, played by Willa Fitzgerald, and her friends, vowed that she will find out who the mysterious killer is after Riley’s brutal death in the previous episode, "Wanna Play a Game?" The evidence points to Tyler O’Neill, played by Max Lloyd-Jones, but Emma thinks that the killer is still out there.

Brooke Maddox, played by Carlson Young, received a mysterious message with a photo that has crossed out the faces of her friends Nina Patterson, played by Bella Thorne, and Riley Marra, played by Brianne Tju. Emma also received a mysterious package from the killer.

The package contained the 1994 yearbook where the photos of Brandon James’ victims were cut out. Emma showed the yearbook to Audrey, played by Bex Taylor-Klaus, and Noah, played by John Karna, to figure out what the killer wants to tell them.

“The truth lies where the mask was made,” the killer wrote on the yearbook. Noah shared that Brandon James’ had surgeries at Lakewood General where the mask was done but the hospital has been closed down six or seven years ago.

Emma and Audrey decided to go to Lakewood General without Noah to see if Sheriff Clark Hudson’s announcement about Tyler being the killer is rock-solid. Audrey explained that bringing Noah with them is like taking a 4-year-old kid to Disneyland wherein they have to put a leash on him.

However, Noah followed Emma and Audrey to the hospital and the trio discovered that the abandoned place is the killer’s lair. The place had clues about Brandon James’ surgeries, the source of the heart that was sent to Emma’s mum, the cutout pictures from the yearbook, pictures of Emma, Tyler’s chopped off head and Nina Patterson’s laptop with video files.

Emma copied the files from Nina’s laptop to the memory card in Audrey’s camera. Sheriff Clark Hudson, played by Jason Wiles, found Emma, Audrey and Noah at the hospital after receiving an anonymous phone call tip about a break-in.

Sheriff Hudson finally believed that Tyler is not the killer after they found his head at the hospital and the rest of his body at a car crash scene near the bridge. Brooke felt bad and blamed herself for Riley’s death.

Meanwhile, Noah and Audrey worked on the files that they copied from Nina’s laptop. Initially, Noah found no content from the files because Emma ejected the memory card too soon. Then, Noah discovered they were able to copy one file so he worked his way around the password-protected file. Noah and Audrey were shocked to see that the file contained Will and Emma’s sex video.

Audrey ordered Noah to take down the file but it suddenly got uploaded to a hidden executable and Noah could not do anything to stop it. The episode ended with everyone receiving the sex video scandal on their phones. Emma was shocked to see that the video of her “first time” got leaked and everyone in town received a copy of it.

“Scream: The TV Series” will return on Tuesday night, July 28, at 10/9c with episode 5 titled “Exposed” on MTV.
