'Scream Queens' Season 1 spoilers: Secrets and hunt for the Red Devil killer in episode 3 titled ‘Chainsaw’ [WATCH]
“Scream Queens” will continue to scare, unveil secrets and reveal character connections in the upcoming third episode titled “Chainsaw.” The synopsis and promo video of “Scream Queens” Season 1, episode 3 teases that all of the characters in FOX’s new horror-comedy TV series are not safe from the Red Devil serial killer roaming freely at Wallace University.

The synopsis in a Hollywood Hills report the mysterious Red Devil killer will continue with its reign of terror that targets the students of Wallace University, particularly the members of the Kappa Kappa Tau (KKT) sorority. The Red Devil has already killed KKT member Chanel #2 (Ariana Grande) and KKT pledge Tiffany or Deaf Taylor Swift (Whitney Meyer) in the pilot episode.
It has been revealed as well in episode 2 that the Red Devil killer has an accomplice in Boone (Nick Jonas), a member of the Dickie Dollar Scholars (DDS) fraternity who faked his death. In the upcoming episode, the synopsis teased that Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) will confess a secret while Grace Gardner (Skyler Samuels) and Zayday Williams (Keke Palmer) will find out about the surprising connection between the fellow students.
“Scream Queens” characters Chad Radwell (Glen Powell) and Earl Grey (Lucien Laviscount) will be leading the DDS fraternity on a hunt for the Red Devil killer to put a stop to the murders happening at the university. Meanwhile, the promo video of “Scream Queen” Season 1, episode 3 further teased that no one is safe from the Red Devil killer.
The lives of “Scream Queens” characters Chanel #5 (Abigail Breslin) and Zayday appears to be in danger in the promo video. The other scenes in the promo video also teased on Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts), the president of the Kappa Kappa Tau sorority, getting arrested and Grace confronting her father about her identity.
Series creator Brad Falchuk teased in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (THR) that all of the characters in “Scream Queens” could be the Red Devil killer. Falchuk revealed that FOX’s new horror-comedy series is designed to make the characters a suspect.
Falchuk shared to THR that the team behind “Scream Queens” is very careful in having someone to go through the episode script and try to understand who the Red Devil attacked, when and why they were attacked. Through that process, Falchuk explained there is a possibility that some of the characters are already crossed out as a suspect in the series of murders.
Falchuk further teased that the fans will definitely continue to return to the mystery that happened in 1995 and eventually find out what really happened concurrently as the present. “Scream Queens” will return with episode 3 titled “Chainsaw” on Tuesday night, Sept. 29, at 9/8c on FOX.
