‘Scandal’ season 6 episode 10 spoilers: Olivia Pope is getting married

Olivia Pope is finally getting married at least that is what “Scandal” season 6 episode 10 suggests. It may not however the kind of wedding viewers are expecting.

In the upcoming 100th episode of the ABC drama, Olivia (Kerry Washington) will be thinking what her life would be if she did not make a dreadful decision eight years ago. It was the time when she along with Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) agreed and planned to rig the election for Fitz Grant (Tony Goldwyn).

A teaser for episode “The Decision” shows election rigging that happened eight years ago. Then, a question of "What if it went the other way?" was shown. A scene that features Olivia, saying: "No, we're not fixing the election" is also shown.

The “Scandal” season 6 clip also shows Olivia in a wedding gown,which suggests she could have a happy life if she made a different decision back then. However, it is unclear with whom she will tie the knot. Is it Fritz?

The Olivia Pope & Associates (OPA) also appears in the teaser but Olivia is seen walking through an empty corridor of her office. Quinn (Katie Lowes) is also seen in the clip with an unnamed character putting a tiara over her head.

Guillermo Diaz (Huck) told TV Guide that episode 10 will be like the movie “Xanadu” and there will be other-world reality for Olivia. As for Darby Stanchfield (Abby), the episode is like a break for the actors.

"People who have tuned in this season, they're going to get a kick out of it because it's a completely different thing. As actors, we needed that too and we really enjoyed it," Stanchfield said.

In the previous episode, Olivia and the OPA gladiators investigated a conspiracy. Olivia found out that Abby is involved in the murder of Jennifer Fields and the attempted murder of Huck. Quinn killed Meg.

Olivia can’t forgive Abby for what she did that put Huck’s life in grave danger. Fitz told Olivia to forgive her friend. At the end, Huck came out of coma while Quinn is seating at his bedside. Olivia comforts Abby while she cries at the hospital bench.

Goldwyn teased that President Grant and Abby’s relationship will greatly affected by the recent events. The actor said Fritz sees Abby as the only person in OPA who wears a white hat but it will change with the recent revelations.

"Abby is someone he really trusts. She will speak the truth to him, but that’s all changed now because Abby is corrupt. So it’s going to become tough for Fitz," the actor told TooFab.

“Scandal” season 6 episode 10 will air on Thursday (April 13) at 9/8c on ABC in the US. The drama series also airs in Australia on Seven Network.
