Sasha Grey reportedly suffered an untimely death during her volunteer work as a nurse in Ukraine. According to a live blog, the former porn star was among the casualties during the conflict at the war-torn country.

A group of Russian-backed militants made posts on social media stating Sasha Grey has died while treating injured militants in Ukraine. According to USA Today, the post from the pro-militant group claimed before the former American porn star died she was volunteering as a nurse, treating militants injured from the fight against the Ukrainian government.

Details of the events that led to her supposed death were also included in the post. According to Inquisitr, the group said Grey was eventually captured by Ukrainian troops where she was ultimately killed. The post even paid her respects, stating "she was able to bring to life even to the most hopeless of cases."

The reports of Sasha Grey’s death apparently circulated well enough that it reached the actress herself. On Feb 18, Grey took to her Twitter page to slam the pro-militant’s post on her death, calling it a propaganda which she has no involvement in. She wrote a series of tweets confirming she is alive and well and also to dismiss reports she is involve in the conflict in Ukraine’s east.

Her first post on Wednesday, Feb 18 states, “I <3 my Russian fans, but this propaganda takes it too far. News that I was a NURSE killed in the Russian/Ukraine conflict. #fuckpropoganda.” A couple of minutes after Sasha Grey followed it up with another tweet saying, “People are dying. People are losing family members & BS outlets mock the deceased with Fappery like this.”

According to the site, Grey was once labeled as a supporter of Kyiv last year by a fake propaganda story. The story claimed she and other Russian artists were friends of the Hunta last summer or fall. She was reportedly slammed for her alleged support of the protest movement in Kyiv, when she supposedly voiced her support during the pro-Europe protest last year. Now, according to USA Today it seems like she is being glorified by her fake death at the hands of the Ukrainian troops.
