The latest foe that reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey vanquished is just earnestly watching the sidelines waiting for her next chance at the title shot. With Rowdy facing Cat Zingano next, the American fighter likes the chances of Zingano to pull off the upset against the heavily favoured Rousey at UFC 184 at Los Angeles, California.

"I think so, yeah," McMann said per FOX Sports. "Cat Zingano is a very tough athlete."

During a September interview, Ronda Rousey handpicked McMann as the one who gave her the toughest challenge inside the Octagon to which McMann nodded in agreement. The 34-year-old fighter confirmed that her wrestling background made her the hardest one to control and take down among all Rousey conquests. While she offered no excuse after losing via a technical knockout when she was shot at the liver area, McMann is adamant that she is ready for another shot, which is also fuelled by the traded barbs by both women while promoting the event.

The 27-year-old champion was critical of the way McMann handled the promotion for their February fights, saying that her rival focused on her training instead of devoting some time to the media. She added during her press conference for the Alexis Davis fight that McMann did "zero media" for the whole thing and it was up to Rousey to bring interest to the bout.

The South Carolina resident fired back at the critical comments and argues while she did not devote her whole effort, it was untrue that she did zero effort to promote the fight. She also admits that she understands that promotions are part of the sport and that she will pay more attention in that area in future bouts.

McMann last fought in August and won a split decision against Lauren Murphy. While she has no current matches lined up as of the moment, talks are ripe that the 34-year-old wrestler is in talks to face Miesha Tate next. McMann is hoping that an impressive win over Tate plus another fight would bazooka her up to the title conversations once again and get her second shot at Rowdy.
