Ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S7 launch, a set of freshly leaked images revealed the colour options of the upcoming flagship.

Evan Blass posted an image on his official Twitter page (@evleaks), which shows the Galaxy S7 Edge in silver. Previously, Blass leaked the first render of the Galaxy S7 and galaxy S7 Edge showing the back panel of the devices.

The Galaxy S7 is expected to features a 5.1-inch Quad HD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 3,000 mAh battery under the hood. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 Edge is purported to sport a bigger 5.5-inch display and a massive 3,600 mAh battery unit.

Another leaked render, featured on Pisapapeles shows the gold version of Samsung Galaxy S7 . There are two photographs showing both the front and rear sides of the device. The curved back looks similar to the Galaxy Note 5, notes GSM Arena.

Earlier this week, India's import and export tracking website Zauba listed several waterproofing components of the handsets, hinting towards one of the key Galaxy S7 specs. The components are believed to be assembled in India for selling in the country. Previous rumours also suggested that the Galaxy S7 will bring back water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be reportedly unveiled on Feb. 21 at Samsung Unpacked event, just a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona starts. However, invitations to the “Unpacked” read #TheNextGalaxy and do not specifically mention the Galaxy S7.

The MWC 2016 will see major smartphone manufacturers refreshing their lineup of high-end devices. LG is has also confirmed the launch of the successor of its highly popular LG G4, the LG G5 on Feb. 21. The latest teaser released by the company indicates the incorporation of ‘Always On’ display mode.
