Samsung's continuous release of devices regardless of the season may have taken out the surprise factor but it has not taken away the spotlight on some of its major flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has started making rounds with predictions of a metal body and next generation UFS memory. What has Samsung got up its sleeves?

Samsung's major flagship release has been starting every year early for several years. The Samsung Galaxy S5 was announced near the beginning of the year thus predictions of the Samsung Galaxy S6 around the corner have started surfacing. According to Daum, a South Korean news outlet, the upcoming Samsung flagship may arrive around March. Slash Gear noted that while the release may be slightly off than usual, the Mobile World Congress will be in March 2015. This opens up possibilities for the product announcement around that time.

Website 3g.co.uk, on other hand, proposes a design that incorporates metal and glass seamlessly for a more premium approach. Many have been keen on seeing Samsung get rid of the plastic elements but recent reports note the company's setback in producing metal including the the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy S5 builds.

To support mounting interest over the announcement and release of the Samsung Galaxy S6, ET News cited a Samsung insider saying that the Korean tech giant plans on using a next-gen NAND flash storage for the new flagship. The technology is called Universal Flash Storage specifically UFS 2.0.

If Samsung pulls this off then users can expect transfer speeds similar to the SSD technology. The main difference is that UFS can be produced cheaper similar to eMMC memory chips. More importantly, it is thrice the speed of eMMC memory reaching transfer speeds up to 1.2GB/s. It is also energy efficient which makes it the ideal to avoid overheating and battery drains according to GSM Arena.

In an exclusive report from SamMobile, the website cited Samsung insiders hinting the S6 to be at the early stages of development. Some of the model numbers leaked includes:
