Samsung's dismal sales performance this 2014 has prompted the company to look into its management in hopes that changes will bring corresponding new results. One of the primary initiatives that the company is looking forward to is the release of the Samsung Galaxy S6. With analysts expecting the announcement sometime this first quarter of 2015, more details have been predicted.

According to a report by The Motley Fool, Samsung may include an Exynos 7 Octa processor to its flagship. More interestingly, the processor will feature LTE-Advanced Category 10 cellular connectivity. This will be developed under the company's designed cellular modem. However, while the site shared its doubts over the spec, it did claim that Samsung may be close to achieving it.

How?

While Samsung may not have the 6 LTE-Advanced modem capability yet, Qualcomm did claim that is has been working on updating its modem included in the Snapdragon 810 integrated applications processor. Once this pushes through, then the modem can support the device with up to category 9 speeds. This means smartphones may soon be able to process 450 megabits per second download speeds.

If one variant of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will run on the Snapdragon 810 processor then it can be a safe bet to expect the category 9 LTE-Advanced capability. However, as for the Exynos having the same capability remains doubtful.

As for another Samsung Galaxy S6 leak and prediction, Trusted Reviews reported about a new leak saying that the flagship may sport a 5.5-inch display. The information came from supply chain sources. The image published shows a large handset looking like the Galaxy Alpha and its metal body. However, people should still take the leak with the grain of salt. The chunky nature of the device featured including the bright yellow hue may be points of contention. Other expected features of the Galaxy S6 include 3GB of RAM and 21MP primary shooter.
