On March 1, Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Fresh reports claim that Samsung will soon roll out a third edition of its flagship with support for dual-SiM cards. It will be called as Galaxy S6 Duo. T

Phone Arena claims that the news about the Galaxy S6 Duo first came up in Philippines. Few days ago, the Galaxy S6 Duo was also seen listed on a retailer site in Russia. However, the existence of the device was doubtful until today when leaked photos of the Galaxy S6 Duo surfaced.

The leaked photos show a dual-SIM card tray placed beside the Galaxy S6. The images that have surfaced have become a concrete proof that the device exists. However, Samsung has not made any announcement on its existence. Phone Arena cautions the audience to keep in mind that the leaked photos are images of a prototype device. It means that the device shown in the pictures may not appear as Galaxy S6 but it houses the internal components of the Galaxy S6.

In one of the images, the name of the device is cleared mentioned as Galaxy S6. Another photo shows that Samsung has added a listing for “SIM card manager” in Settings to manage the dual-SIM cards. It has a model number of SM-G920.

Phone Arena says that the specifications of the device will be probably same as that of the Galaxy S6. The only difference will be that the SM-G920 model will support two SIM cards.

The Galaxy S6 houses a 5.1-inch display screen that supports Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by the Exynos 7420 chipset that features a 64-bit octa-core processor. The chipset is supported by 3 GB of RAM. The Galaxy S6 has a 16 MP camera positioned on the backside of the device whereas the front houses a 5 MP.

The Galaxy S6 with 64 GB native storage will be priced around $901 (AU$ 1171). As of this writing, there is no information whether the device will also be available in native storage options like 32 GB and 128 GB. Speculations have it that the device will be aimed towards certain markets.
