The Samsung Galaxy S5 was released in the month of February 2014. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.5 inches Super AMOLED display, with a superior resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. Whereas the Galaxy S5 Active is expected to come with a relatively smaller 5.1 inches Super AMOLED display, with the same screen resolution as the Galaxy S5. Both the phones share the same pixel density of 432 ppi.

The thickness and the weight of Samsung Galaxy S5 are 0.32 inches and 145 g respectively. The Galaxy S5 Active, on the other hand, is expected to come with a thickness of 0.35 inches and a weight of 170 g, owing to the ruggedness of the handset.
