Google has yet to complete the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to all providers. Fortunately, more details about the Lollipop upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and LG G3 handsets have surfaced. Similar to other Android roll out before, the upgrade for the following devices is expected to be carried out in stages.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update has started already but according to Android Origin, users in the United States may have to wait until another month. Poland users have already started receiving the update and reports indicate the release has been going well. Android Origin also noted that there have not been any complaints so far from the recipients of the update. Samsung has since then turned to Korea for the next roll out area. Users in region may have to wait for the company's official announcement as well as update from their carriers.

Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE owners can also expect access to the Lollipop update as the roll out has been pushed already. Android Central clarifies that the update is the Android 5.0 Lollipop rather than the Android 5.0.1 expected to be released to other Google Play edition devices.

Other GPE devices to get the OTA update include the HTC One M7, HTC One M8 and the Moto G.

As for the LG Android 5.0 Lollipop update, the release has already started in United Kingdom. The latest OS build has begun seeding to Vodafone owners in the region. According to GSM Arena, LG commenced the Lollipop update in Europe last November. The first area to receive the access was Poland. The Android manufacturer is also set to update the rest of its handset to the latest firmware. Enhancements to expect include new security features, fresh Android ART runtime and new UI design language.
