More rumours for the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been rolling out, especially with it being the next most-anticipated smart device coming out from the Korean manufacturer.

The latest of these bits of information include the possibility that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be the first-ever smartphone to feature 4 GB of RAM, according to Trusted Reviews.

Putting this alongside the previously rumoured (and half-confirmed) 64-bit processor and you may just have one of the most powerful devices to come in the market. The report lifts from a Korean write-up, which when supposedly translated, had stated that the 4 GB of RAM is an attempt to make history for smartphones.

This won't be a surprise, considering that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 already features 3 GB of memory and is already ahead of most devices of its class.

Suggested and Rumoured Features Abound

So far, the rumours that have appeared surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S5 are plenty and showcase features that are pretty advanced or smart devices. Gotta Be Mobile compiled the rumours and presented a handful that made headlines.

One of these include the upgrade in camera, not just from a 13 MP to a 16 MP but also the addition of optical image stabilisation or OIS to be at par with other existing phones. There's also the addition of the ISOCELL technology, still to improve the camera.

There's also talk that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will release with the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, which would be a good start since Google Nexus 5 did the same.

All of these insides are said to be encased in a metallic chassis for a body.

Just like the Samsung Note 3, the other hardware features, like the screen size and resolution and overall design are still missing, but it won't be surprising if the Samsung Galaxy S5 followed the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Perhaps one of the biggest expectations that have been put out as early as this month is that the Samsung Galaxy S5 may have a chance of making an appearance at the next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, reports Highlight Press. But keep in mind that Samsung has not officially announced release dates yet.

Modest Prediction for Samsung Galaxy S5 Despite Great Features?

As early as September, rumours and speculations surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S5 have been ongoing, with hopes that the Korean company's next flagship smartphone will deliver better results compared to its predecessor.

However, a report from Phone Arena suggests that Samsung may be putting its flagship phone next to another segment of its phones. With Samsung allegedly completing its forecast for the next business year, it seems that the prediction for the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been trimmed compared to what was allotted for the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Instead of putting out similar numbers as to what had been expected for its predecessor, the expectations for Samsung Galaxy S5 were trimmed to what is dubbed to be "moderate" figures, a surprising move given that it has the mentioned features rumoured to be coming out.

This change in focus may be to pave the way for Samsung to build up and promote its mid-range tablets and smart devices in order to pursue a different path for its growth and sales.
