Four flagship Galaxy devices are expected to receive the official Android 5.0 Lollipop update with TouchWiz UI as early as November 2014. It includes the Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.

It is expected that Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3 are eligible to receive the next generation Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware since the 18-month software support remains active. But the question from users would be when will it be ready for rollout?

SamMobile reported earlier that Samsung will likely to release Android 5.0 Lollipop for Galaxy S5 as soon as late November to early December this year. New updates from the site unveiled Samsung's upgrades to the Android 5.0 Lollipop base firmware from LRW58J to LRX02E. LRX02E significant changes from the first base firmware include Android version text "L to 5.0," Android Easter egg called "Android Bird" which simulates "Angry Bird" mobile game using lollipops as obstacles and the use of black and yellow striped rectangles on the current build.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3 are also included on the list due to the current software support from the company. Although, no official announcement has been released for these Galaxy phablets, users should expect Android 5.0 Lollipop updates some time from November 2014 to February 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S4 made on the list as well after SamMobile confirms the upcoming major update. Android 5.0 Lollipop would be the third major software upgrade for Galaxy S4 after Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Android 4.4 KitKat with the Exynos variant GT-I9500 expected to receive it first-hand. Release date remains unknown at this time and will be subjected on how fast Samsung can finish the software development.
