Images of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active were leaked at the tech web site GSMArena.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy smart phone was designed with the impressive waterproof and dustproof features to compete with the Sony Xperia Z.

The new Samsung Galaxy S4 variant sports a metallic body and bolts design capable of covering and protecting the ports as well as the smart phone's quad-core interior from water and dust entry. Though the Active smart phone model has a size similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4, the red back and sides plus the three physical buttons at the front distinguishes it from the existing Galaxy device.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active has a 5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen display with 1920x1080p resolution, the quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, Adreno 320 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) and a rear camera of only 8MP compared to the 13MP camera of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The Active smart phone had its recent display in Croatia and more information on the upcoming Galaxy device will be available soon. Certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group validates the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active reality and upcoming release.

Other reports indicate that the new Galaxy smart phone release date is scheduled this coming July. However, no announcement was given yet on the price of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active smart phone.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be released as well at the same time with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. It appears that the South Korean technology giant aims to offer consumers with the new Samsung devices that can meet their precise requirements.

Another Samsung Galaxy S4 variant expected to be released soon is the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. It is a smart phone designed to provide the device enthusiasts with impressive camera and video imaging features.
