Among the most awaited gadgets expected on board this fall would definitely be new products launched by Samsung. It is being speculated that Samsung Electronics will release the large screen smartphone Galaxy Note 5 in September.

Galaxy Note series has been unveiled a day before the opening of IFA in Berlin every September starting from 2011. The Samsung Note series is one of the coveted and influential device ranges in the history of smartphones.

Apparently, Samsung is making two models which are known as SM-G928S and SM-N920F, for the time being. Note 5 is expected to be a fairly thin, lightweight and relatively compact phablet without compromising the performance, display or battery life.

Spectacular Design

It will be big enough to accommodate a larger display with thin bezel-razor and tight-fitting metal framed body. For the last few models Samsung limited Note series at 5.7inch. Though, Note 5 may have 5.9in display. Users can expect a making for a nicely compact phablet.

Samsung’s addition of a parallel EDGE series of special edition started with Note 4. It is rumoured that Note 5 may have these model options:

  • There will be both regular and EDGE variants

  • There won't be an EDGE variant at all

  • There will only be one model and it will have an EDGE display

Stunning Ultra HD 4K Display

Samsung has been consistent in offering some of the best displays in the market. It seems that both models will feature curved displays with 2K or 4K resolution as reported in SamMobile. If at all Samsung uses 4K resolution, Galaxy Note 5 will likely be the first smartphone in the world to offer such high pixel density. Super AMOLED display offers excellent color accuracy and contrasts and variable brightness levels.

Samsung is said to be working on this technology for mass production from early August. This indicates a September arrival of the latest addition of the Note series.

Gigantic Processing Power

Samsung Note 5 may house an Exynos 7422 processor, and the company’s homegrown modem. The Exynos 7422 is said to be the company’s first ever all-in-one solution (ePoP) as it will combine the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and modem on a single chip.

Stylus Features & Multitasking

It’s not just about the big screen in the world the smartphones. A gorgeous big screen with some software tweaks is the need for the day. Thus, a handy little S-Pen stylus sounds good.

Samsung is supposed to team up with Wacom, the undisputed master of the capacitive stylus space. The new offering is to produce the most sensitive, accurate, and flexible stylus experience. Handwriting recognition, super accurate touch, small windowed applets and pressure sensitivity are the major highlights.

BIG Battery Life

Battery life on the last few Galaxy Note handsets has been outstanding partly because of its awesome Ultra Power Saving mode. However, the Note 5 has the possibility of combining these remarkable features with an extremely battery-friendly processor, the 14 nanometer Exynos 7420. It will feature USB Type–C connectivity and pack in a truly spectacular 4100Mah battery, as reported by Know Your Mobile. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be a joy to use the phone in all conditions.
