Samsung fans in South Korea were treated to an early release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 after it was released just last week. However, it does not mean that these users are saved the trouble of issues coming with Samsung's new Note.

Apparently, they may have experienced the brunt of the issues, as users have started to complain about defects in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. G for Games reports that one major defect that was seen by users is the gap between the display and the casing.

As seen in the photos in the link above, as many as two sheets of A4 paper can be fitted inside the aforementioned gap. The source mentions that this could be a source of trouble later on, as the gap can attract dirt and grime or even an even bigger target for water droplets to be stored and wreak havoc later on.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was released early in South Korea in an obvious effort to ensure its presence before Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which are two contenders for the newest Note device. Whether or not the defects are a contained issue or if it is a result of hastened release has yet to be confirmed. The source reports that Samsung has already acknowledged the issue, but there is no word yet of the next steps from the company regarding the defect.

But even with this new development, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is still something to be had for users who want to get the most out of their device's battery life. Android Authority has managed to land a few tests with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Exynos edition, and compared it with a few of the device's rivals in terms of battery life.

Some of the discovered figures for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 shows off the device's efficiency in many aspects of its battery life, including the following activities:

- 8.30 hours of displaying a white image over the LG G3's 5.38 hours

- 7 hours of Wi-fi use

- 12 hours of video playback performance time

- 3.30 hours of 3D gaming

Samsung's other awaited device, the limited edition Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, has also started its preorders with U.K. retailer Clove. Spotted by GSM Arena, the preorders are rather costly, with the VAT included package costing £650 while the package without VAT costs £541.67.

The available modes are the Charcoal Black and Frost White, both with the 32GB memory version. Since Clove follows the Samsung-implemented region lock for stocks, expect that the preorders will cater to the European models of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Check out the preorder page here.
