Australians can begin pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from the local telco company Vodafone, beginning on October 15. According to Ausdroid there has been an anonymous tip off regarding the prices.

The Galaxy Note 4 pricing begins with $10 a month on a $70 plan for 24 months and $4 per month on a $100 plan.

The Galaxy Note Edge pricing begins at $18 a month on the $70 plan for over 24 months and $12 a month on the $100 plan.

To make the plan more appealing to its customer Vodafone is also giving three months of free service on a 24 month plan to those customers who will port their numbers to Vodafone. This could save around $300. Customers who place their orders between October 15 to 29 will receive a Samsung Level On Headset valued at $249.

However, there have been reports from Techly that sales of the Note 4 and the Note Edge will be delay for about a week. According to an official announcement made by Samsung the on date sale of Note 4 is revised to Nov. 5 and the Note Edge Nov.15. Optus and Vodafone are taking pre-orders for the devices. It is at the discretion of the customer whether he wants to wait for the release date or pre-order the phone.

A short recap regarding the specifications of these smartphones for the benefit of the readers; both these devices the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge have a metal body that looks premium. They sport a Quad HD Super AMOLED display. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is 5.7 inches slightly larger than the Galaxy Note Edge which is 5.6 inches.

The devices are powered by a 2.7 GHz Quad core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. The front facing camera is 3.7 mega pixels and towards the rear is a 16 mega pixel camera. The main difference between these two devices is the storage capacity. The Galaxy Note 4 has 32 GB of internal memory and is expandable up to 128 GB. The Note Edge is available in the 64 GB variant.

The battery of the Note 4 is 3,220 mAh while the Note Edge is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Both the devices work on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The devices also include the S Pen stylus.

These are two very good phones and the deals that Vodafone is offering is very competitive.
