Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date is approaching. So far, we have heard reports on various killer features of the upcoming device. This includes a powerful 64-bit processor, retina scanner, brilliant colour options, OIS in camera, curved OLED display option, an ultrasound pen, thinner design and reasonable price. However, the new addition to this never-ending list of Galaxy Note 4 features includes an ultraviolet (UV) sensor.

Never-Ending Sensor Fad

Similar to the upcoming iPhone 6, Samsung is also trying to make hay while the health and fitness fad shines bright across the globe. This fad started with the introduction of its S Health app, which gathers and analyses health- and fitness-related information pertaining to individuals. And then, it moved on to the heart rate sensor/monitor and now, the UV sensor, says Phone Arena.

Apparently, the reported ultraviolet (UV) sensor will be located on the front of the upcoming Galaxy Note 4. This sensor will be used to measure the amount of UV radiation the user is exposed to in any given time. The sensor will collate data and inform the user when in danger of skin damage due to UV rays, according to SamMobile.

However, take this rumour with a grain of salt as there has been no official confirmation for the same.
