Salma Hayek is the latest addition to the growing number of women who recently surfaced to accuse Donald Trump of sexual misconduct.

In an interview aired over the Latino radio show “El Show del Madril,” the 50-year-old Mexican actress claimed that the Republican presidential nominee had made an issue out of her height after repeated failures to take her out on a date.

“When I met that man, I had a boyfriend,” she said on Radio Centro 93.9 in Los Angeles. “He tried to become his friend to get my home telephone number. He got my number and he would call me to invite me out.”

Now married to French businessman, François-Henri Pinault, Hayek said she repeatedly declined Trump’s invitation since meeting him.

“When I told him I wouldn’t go out with him even if I didn’t have a boyfriend, [which he took as disrespectful], he called — well, he wouldn’t say he called, but someone told the National Enquirer – I’m not going to say who, because you know that whatever he [Trump] wants to come out, comes out in the National Enquirer. It said that he wouldn’t go out with me because I was too short.

“Later, he [Trump] called and left me a message. ‘Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don’t want people to think this [way] about you.’ He thought that I would try to go out with him so people wouldn’t think that’s why he wouldn’t go out with me.”

A known supporter of Trump’s rival, Hillary Clinton, the “Frida” star also warned other Mexicans residing in the United States about the consequences of a Trump presidency. (Read: Donald Trump earns fans, critics: Who are the celebrities voting for or against the US Republican nominee)

Hayek described as a “gravely serious” issue Trump’s plan to stop the flow of money from Mexican-Americans to their families in Mexico if the South American country will refuse to pay for the cost of constructing a border wall.

“People don’t know about this. Even if you’re here legally as a US citizen, you wouldn’t be able to send money. That’s gravely serious,” she added.

Before Hayek’s disclosure, at least 11 women have come forward and accused Trump of sexually aggressive behaviour. For his part, the 70-year-old real estate magnate has threatened to sue them. (Read: Amber Tamblyn details how a lover like Donald Trump treats women)
