Adam Levine of Maroon 5 has been hailed as the "Sexiest Man Alive" of 2013. While some fans are more than pleased with the results, some claim Ryan Gosling was most worthy of the title. In fact, Adam might have agreed with it and if not for Gosling "turning down the award constantly" then Gosling would have won.

Fans have no one else to blame than Ryan Gosling for losing out on the title of "Sexiest Man Alive" again. Well, that is what Adam Levine pointed out in his acceptance speech late last night. According to "The Voice" judge, Gosling had "constantly" turned down the award which caused People magazine to look elsewhere for suitable hunks.

"Ryan Gosling, thank you for turning this down constantly," stated Levine, adding, "That really helped my campaign."

Last year, Channing Tatum of "Magic Mike" bagged the award for "Sexiest Man Alive" but nowhere in his acceptance speech did Tatum mention Gosling. However, Tatum was a bit surprised with the news and had thought the media was simply joking around.

"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" says Tatum in an interview with People, adding, "I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked."

Gosling also failed to nab the title in 2011 where "Silver Linings Playbook" Bradley Cooper won the title. Back then, fans of Gosling also started an online petition claiming Gosling was more worthy of the title "Sexiest Man Alive."

Despite the entire ruckus, Ryan Gosling has said nothing about the award nor does he seem to be fighting for it. For one, Gosling doesn't need to be glorified on a magazine cover to be known as the "Sexiest Man Alive." Anyone who has watched Goslings' films would definitely agree that he is the "sexiest" hunk in the biz.

Eva Mendes would certainly agree to this fact. Of course, that is if Eva and Ryan are even still together. Rumour has it that Ryan Gosling has been in touch with his ex-girlfriend, Rachel McAdams. "The Notebook" fans are desperately praying on a romantic reunion between both stars.
