Russia sent bombs for Islamic State militant as a specific response for a series of terrorist attacks in Paris on Nov. 13. Air Force members in Syria wrote “For Paris” on bombs to be dropped on ISIS targets.

They also wrote “For our people” on the bombs apparently to commemorate the French and the Russian people killed in the terrorist attacks. The Russian Defence Ministry released a new video on YouTube that shows servicemen at the Hmeimim airbase in Lattakia write the messages on the FAB-250-M62 high explosive bombs attached to a Russian Sukhoi Su-34, Iranian news agency Press TV reported.

The aircraft then moves up to launch another series of airstrikes against ISIS militants in the country. The messages presumably represents a reaction for the Paris attacks, killing 132 people and injuring around 350 others. It also seems to be a reaction for bombing a Russian Airbus A321 over the Sinai Peninsula, killing 224 people on-board.

According to Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu, Russia fired 18 cruise missiles from the Caspian and the Mediterranean seas against ISIS targets in Raqqa, Aleppo and Idlib provinces. Shoygu said the missiles had killed “600 militants” in ISIS-controlled city of Deir ez-Zor.

“On November 20, the warships of the Caspian Fleet launched 18 cruise missiles at seven targets in the provinces of Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo,” RT quoted Shoygu as reporting President Vladimir Putin. “All targets were hit successfully.”

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russia still refuses to engage itself in ground operations against ISIS militants in Syria. “There has been no discussion about a ground operation and there is still no discussion,” he said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov earlier had a phone conversation with his American counterpart John Kerry to discuss the inevitability of a joint effort against ISIS militants in Syria. The Russian Foreign Ministry said Lavrov also talked about the need for dialogues between the Assad regime and the opposition.
