An Oscar winner and the singer of his own band, many would think Russell Crowe can keep his insecurities off bay. However, the actor is getting butterflies in the stomachs as he works in the movie adaptation of 'Les Miserables.'

According to reliable sources, Crowe described working with Broadway-experienced co-stars as 'intimidating.' Crowe finds the singing part of the project challenging due to the fact that it was not studio recorded.

For the Aussie actor, it must feel daunting to work closely with experienced singers like Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway. Crowe's representative has yet released a statement regarding to the actor's comments on this news. As far as how things are going, Crowe is trying his best to make the most out of the adaptation.

An exclusive sneak peek was screened last week during the CinemaCon in Las Vegas.The characters were presented in all their costumes, and the audience was treated with Hathaway's performance of the musical's famous bit, I Dreamed a Dream.'
