“Orange is the New Black” star Ruby Rose may be missing her favourite band Guns N’ Roses in Coachella 2016, but it shouldn’t dampen her spirits because she is currently busy with her flourishing career. Her latest gig is a modelling job with pal Hailey Baldwin for the Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply Spring 2016 campaign. Artist Edward Granger will also be part it.

The official website of Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply line has Rose, Baldwin and Granger’s photos wearing casual but stylish clothes. Rose sports overalls under a brown vest while Baldwin dons a printed over-the-knee dress as she shows off a more feminine style. As for Granger, he’s wearing a button-down shirt with khaki pants and sneakers.

Denim & Supply released an exclusive video on Instagram starring the stunning Australian actress and singer showing off her natural style. The video’s caption says that it’s part of the RubyRose x DenimandSupplyRL cinematic social series.

On Tuesday, the 29-year-old Rose shared with The Associated Press (AP) how difficult it was for her to get campaigns when she was younger and how everybody complained she dressed like a boy.

“When I first started in the industry back home in Australia at 18 there was a lot of push and shove as to how I should dress, if I was allowed to cut my hair short, if I had too many tattoos,” Rose told AP.

Well, now it’s not a problem anymore. Moreover, Rose’s classy response to “The Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence’s “slutty power lesbian” comment in Glamour magazine also shows how the model and actress has matured over the years.

In an interview with New York Magazine’s The Cut , Rose politely said that she is not aware of Lawrence’s comment. She also said that it should not be misinterpreted because she believes that Lawrence cannot have malice against the LGBT community considering the fact that she spends so much time supporting them. Rose praised Lawrence for being an amazing actress and a strong advocate for women’s empowerment.

“I think that is an easy quote to misinterpret or to pick apart. But I know that she has an amazing sense of humor, and for her to say that, I know that would never come from a bad place,” Rose told The Cut.

Rose’s comment about Lawrence was truly refreshing considering the numerous catfights that go on between celebrities. Everybody expected her to give a scathing reply and start a war. But what came out was pure class. No wonder her star continues to rise.
