England's next ruler opened up about some of the most important things in his life right now, his soon-to-be status a grandfather to Kate and William's first born, and his other son, Harry's deployment in Afghanistan.

The royal, Prince Charles, rarely talks about delicate matters in public, but this time, he expressed his emotions on two of the most important family-related happenings in his life. In an interview with ITV earlier today, the Prince shared his feelings towards the Duke and the Duchess' future heir.

"I'm feeling very old," comments the Prince after being congratulated by the show's hosts, then went on to express his feelings on the current status of the environment and how it can affect the life of his future grandchild.

"I've gone on for years about the importance of thinking about the long term in relation to the environmental damage, the climate change and everything else," specifically points out Charles in the interview, as reported by E! Online.

"I don't want to be confronted by my future grandchild and have them say, 'Why didn't you do something? So, clearly now that we will have a grandchild, it makes it even more obvious to try and make sure we leave them something that isn't a total poisoned chalice." added the Royal in the same post.

Next up, Prince Charles was asked how he felt about Harry's career in the military, and his deployment in Afghanistan, and just like any other family member of any man sent away, he says he worries a lot.

"If you are a parent or relation to a loved one and that person is away in incredibly dangerous and challenging circumstances, I know you worry all the time," admits the Prince.

"Certainly every night I worry. But he loves what he is doing and he's brilliant at it," he confidently concluded.
