The Prince and Duchess will reportedly be sifting through a huge number of photos taken by the family and hand-pick the best few to show off to the world. Once they have chosen their photos, it is believed that they will have the photos uploaded and released through their Kensington Palace Twitter account.The photos are expected to break records for Twitter retweets.

At present, President Obama holds the record with 500,000 re-tweets after his 2012 re-election win. The most famous baby in the world- aside from Beyonce's Blu Ivy and Kim Kardashian's North West- photo may break all records for magazine sales, as the photo of Prince William and Kate Middleton leaving the hospital with the newborn was ranked as the best-selling issue of PEOPLE magazine this year.

The Prince George photos are also expected to provide a massive surge in sales of celebrity magazines; the August 5 issue of People magazine, featuring Prince George on the cover, was the best-selling issue so far this year. Future issues of top celebrity magazines are also expected to do extremely well as readers look to get mementos of the baby, and capture a first clear glimpse of his face.

Royal news has been a huge seller for celebrity magazines over the decades, and after Princess Diana's death in 1997, People magazine had its best-selling issue ever featuring her on the cover. The 2011 royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton resulted a massive surge in sales of magazines.

"There's definitely been a royal baby boom," said Mike Steele, editor in chief of Us Weekly. "Our readers love Will and Kate. They're unique among public figures because they're 100 percent likable."

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning to use their own photographs with newborn Prince George as official portraits. Kate will break the custom of using a celebrity photographer and choose from snaps clicked by herself, sister Pippa and parents Carole and Michael Middleton.

The portraits will be the first photos to be released to the public since Kate Middleton And Prince William and Prince George left hospital. However, a huge crowd of photographers and paparazzi were only able to catch a slight glimpse of the newborn at that time.

An Aug. 12, 2013, report by PEOPLE states that "while the world waits for the official portrait of Prince William and Kate and their newborn son, Prince George, the young couple is weighing another option: releasing a set of snapshots possibly taken by Kate and the Middletons, a palace source tells PEOPLE."

"The whole point of these photos is that as many people have access to them who need to and we will find the easiest way of doing that," said the palace source in regard to the distribution of the royal baby photos.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's son Prince George official portraits are expected later in August.

Sharing the royal baby photos on his and Kate Middleton's official website would be a wonderful way to continue his mother Princess Diana's legacy.
