Bookkeepers and speculations from followers are saying that the pregnant Kate Middleton will give birth on the July 3, based on her current 21st week of pregnancy.

There have been reports that there are websites promoting lotteries and bets on when the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge will give birth. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the bets go for July 3, a little less than four months from now.

While visiting Grimsby the other day, the Duchess made a slip that she and the Duke are having a baby girl, stopping at mid-sentence while about to pronounce the word "daughter." It is reported that the royal couple already know the gender of the child, but has only revealed the secret to their close relatives.

Kate also says that she feels the baby moving and kicking inside her, indicating a physically healthy child once it is born. As for her maternity fashion, the Duchess has recently been seen in Topshop, holding lots of clothes, continuing her vow to stay practical despite the need for specialized clothing.

Hollywood Gossip also features a poll where royal pregnancy followers can bet on what the name of the "princess" will be. The obvious choices are "Elizabeth" and "Diana," after William's grandmother and late mother.

Other choices include Victoria, Matilda, Alice, Caroline, and Eleanor, but knowing how non-traditional Kate and William are, they might go for a modern princess name to mark the beginning of a modernized monarchy.

The question is, will Kate really give birth on July 3, or will it be a little earlier or later than the said date?
