Even though the impressive Oppo N3 smartphone was launched a couple of months back, the device has not been released as yet. Apparently, the company has promised to sell its latest device in 20 markets. According to a recent report, the Oppo N3 has finally cleared the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA certification, the Chinese-equivalent of FCC.

Clearing TENEE means the Oppo N3 can now be legally sold in China and the release date could be anytime now. Along with the anticipated debut in China, the company might opt to pick few more markets to launch its device, says GSM Arena. With respect to the pricing details, the Oppo N3 will set the buyers back by $649.

As far as the key specifications go, the Oppo N3 features a huge 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, complemented by 1,080 x 1,920 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 801) Krait 400 processor, clocked at 2.2 GHz and will be backed by a killer 2 GB of RAM. On the software side, the handset runs on Android v4.4.4 KitKat along with Color OS v2.0. When it comes to camera specification, the handset sports a 16 MP rotating (swivelling) camera unit that can revolve 206 degrees. Hence, this single unit acts as the frontal snapper as well as the rear-facing camera. Also, there is a dual-LED flash to compliment the captured images. Readers should note that the N3 camera unit is Schneider Kreuznach certified.

The Oppo N3 comes with an optional dual-SIM support. Notably, the microSD card slot doubles as the micro-SIM card slot to facilitate dual-SIM mode. When it comes to memory configuration, the handset comes equipped with 32 GB of expandable storage. Moreover, the whole configuration is held together and powered by a humongous 3,000 mAh battery unit, bundled with Oppo's proprietary VOOC rapid charging feature. This feature can charge the N3's battery from 0 percent to 75 percent within 30 minutes.

Adding a cherry on top, the handset comes with a fingerprint sensor that can double as a trackpad and button, notes GSM Arena. In addition, the handset features an O-Click Bluetooth remote, which can control the camera unit and can also locate the handset.
