After calling off his engagement with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, Rory McIlroy has been unofficially linked to a number of women, like Irish model Nadia Forde and receptionist Sasha Gale. Forde insisted that her relationship with the famous Irish golfer is purely platonic. Gale, on the other hand, has neither confirmed nor denied her association with McIlroy. Now, a beautiful blonde has been added to the list of women that McIlroy has been romantically linked with. A new report says that McIlroy has found a new flame in PGA staff Erica Stoll.

Ireland's leading celebrity news website Evoke reported that McIlroy and Stoll celebrated the New Year together. The two reportedly got cosy as they walked arm-in-arm down Grafton Street toward Westbury Hotel on Dec. 29. Several spectators said that the pair enjoyed a quiet stroll at St. Stephen's Green, which is a city centre public park in Dublin. Then McIlroy and Stoll stayed in the penthouse suite of a five-star hotel, also in Dublin.

On New Year's Eve, McIlroy treated his new love interest to a helicopter ride around the magical Aran islands before checking in Ashford Castle, where they welcomed 2015 with a sparkling bottle of champagne. McIlroy shared a picture of the champagne bottle soaked in a bucket of ice with two filled wine glasses.

"Happy New Years everyone," McIlroy captioned the photo. "Here's to a great 2015."

Stoll is originally from New York City, but now she lives in Palm Beach, Florida since she works for the PGA. She lives in the same exclusive commune as McIlroy's. It is believed that McIlroy and Stoll have known each other for years.

Stoll, alongside fellow PGA staff Maggie Budzar, made sure that McIlroy would not be late for his appearance during the 2012 Ryder Cup. Stoll and Budzar made sure that McIlroy would not be late for his tee time and offered crucial assistance for him to get to tournament venue at Medinah. Stoll works as the manager of Championship Volunteer Operations at the PGA of America.

Meanwhile, the Northern Irish golfer and four-time Major winner is preparing for his return to action in 2015 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. McIlroy has participated in Abu Dhabi for the past seven years. He has been a three-time runner up in the said tournament. This year, McIlroy is looking optimistic to win his first ever Falcon trophy.
