Ace Young, 31, an American Idol graduate, proposed to 'Idol' Season 3 runner-up Diana DeGarmo on the Idol stage Wednesday night during the 11th season finale of the show.

"We have conquered Broadway together, we have created new music together, we have an amazing group of people around us," Young said, adding, "I love you to death. You're my best friend. I want to make this last forever and I will do anything in my power to have the most amazing life together if you will have me. Diana Nicole DeGarmo, will you marry me?"

De Gardmo, 24, tearfully said "Yes" at the Nokia Theatre.

The Idol sweethearts were not seen in the same season. But they were bonded by similar experiences in the reality-based singing show, among others.

They did not meet in Donald Trump's show, but it ultimately brought them together. Rancic proposed in mid-air while they were on a date, on board a helicopter in Chicago. They got married in 2007 and are now expecting a child via gestational carrier, the couple told Today.

Cory Hardrict and Tia Mowry - They met while filming "Hollywood Horror," dated for six years and got engaged in 2007. He proposed to her on one knee with a her with a 1.5-carat diamond engagement ring. They got married in 2008, and had their first baby in June last year.

Kyle Newman and Jaime King - The director and actress-model met in the set of Fanboys in 2009. They chose her engagement ring together but failed to catch it when it was delivered. When the ring reached their address, Newman proposed while on a romantic walk in a Beverly Hills park. They got married in November 2007.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - The history of their relationship has become public knowledge, thanks to Hollywood media channels. They got to know each other well while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith before Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce in April 2005. The couple announced their engagement last month after Pitt proposed to Jolie with a custom-made engagement ring in front of their children. A wedding date has yet to be set by the couple who has been to known to showbiz followers as "Brangelina."
