Roger Federer admitted he is not yet 100 percent ahead of his 2016 Australian Open campaign at Melbourne Park next week.

Federer suffered a flu-like virus while playing at the Brisbane International earlier this month, which contributed to a final round loss over Canada’s Milos Raonic. The Swiss Maestro said he feels okay after recuperating from the illness, but revealed he may not be in full strength once the first Grand Slam of the year begins.

“I am okay, I trained yesterday and today, tomorrow I'll get some rest like I did on Monday, because I don't want to not feel well for the beginning of the tournament,” Federer said, reports Tennis World USA. “Being healthy is the most important thing, I feel a little bit better but not at 100% yet.”

Federer also confessed about his plans of finally defeating Novak Djokovic after failing to do so in the last two tournaments both tennis giants joined. The 17-time Grand Slam winner only defeated Djokovic once last season at the Cincinnati Masters, but the Serb got the upper hand at the major tournaments, including Wimbledon, the US Open, and most recently at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Fans may be salivating for another classic between Federer and Djokovic in the final round of this year’s Australian Open, but the seeding has ruined all of that as the Fed and “Djoker” are bound for a semis matchup if they win all of their matches from the first round. Federer, seeded as No. 3, will open the tournament against Georgia’s Nikoloz Basilashvili, while Djokovic opens his title defense with a match against South Korea’s Hyeon Chung.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal, seeded at No. 5, will have a first round match-up against fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco. The “King of Clay” is projected to have a quarterfinal showdown against Swiss Stan Wawrinka, according to Yahoo Sports.
