Robert Pattinson's Girlfriend FKA twigs Compared To Singer Bjork In 'Pendulum,' Bags Two BRIT Awards Nominations [VIDEO]

Robert Pattinson's current girlfriend, singer FKA twigs, has been compared to alternative rock singer Bjork. The singer's fans made this comparison after she released the self-directed music video of her new single "Pendulum."

The bondage-style music video on YouTube has made has made fans say that twigs looks like the "daughter of Bjork." Twigs and the 49-year-old singer Bjork not only look similar but also sing in the same eeclectic and alternate rock music genre, according to her fans. Twigs also received two BRIT awards nominations on Thursday.

"Happy new year! i'm very excited to share the video i directed for pendulum," twigs wrote on her Twitter page and also shared a photo from the music video. Check out the picture here that shows twigs stripped to her underwear and tied to a rope. The 26-year-old British singer also thanked experts Wykd Dave and performance artist Sasha Waltz, who helped her do the stunts in the music video. Check out the tweet below.

The music video of "Pendulum" has close to 500 people commenting on it. "She's like the daughter of Bjork, but unique enough to hold her own i literally am in love with twigs," KidPOV .said in her comment under the You Tube video. A fan by the name Atemu said that "her songs are way better than bjork's songs" and another fan, David Reisinger, compared "Pendulum" and Bjork's videos "Hunter" and "All is Full of Love."

FKA twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, began her career as a dancer and then forayed into singing. She released her debut full-length "LP1" in August 2014 and received three gongs at the MOBO Awards 2014. She was also nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2014, even before the release of her debut LP. twigs has also scored two BRIT Awards nominations for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act.
