Robert Pattinson will play various roles from a lover boy to a criminal this year and beyond. So far, there are three confirmed movies for the actor this year and two projects lined up for 2018.

One of the films that Pattinson will star at this year is “Good Time,” which will be directed by Ben Safdie and Joshua Safdie. Pattinson will play a character named Connie, a bank robber that aims to evade a police dragnet.

“Good Time” is produced by Elara Pictures, the Safdie Brothers, Sebastian Bear-McClard, Paris Latsis, Terry Dougas and Oscar Boyson. Hercules Film Fund finances the film with Elara Pictures and Rhea Films serving as the production companies. Jean-Luc De Fanti executive produced.

Another 2017 film of Pattinson is “Damsel.” The film is directed by David Zellner. The film follows the story of a business man who travels to the west to join the love of his life in the mountains. Last year, Indie Wire has reported that shooting for the film was ongoing in Utah.

“The Trap” is another film on the 2017 list. Harmony Korine helms the film, which is described as a “super propulsive, pretty highly violent revenge movie” by the director himself. Based on the film’s synopsis, the film will follow an ex-con as he seeks revenge against a former friend who let him suffer alone for a robbery they committed 14 years ago.

Next year, the “Twilight” star will star in “Idol's Eye.” The actor will be playing a thief, who steals a blue diamond from a Chicago mob boss. Movie Plot has learned that shooting for the film will finally start this year after it was put on hold in 2014. Pattinson will also star in a genre-bending crime/sci-fi mashup titled “High Life” in 2018.

Official release dates for all Robert Pattinson films for 2017 and 2018 in Australia are expected to be announced soon.
