Former reality star Rob Kardashian has been away from spotlight for the better part of the past two years but the rest of his family is still very much in the forefront. Recent reports reveal that he is now working hard to get back in shape and is even joking around about his weight gain on his Instagram.

“Started right here with these milkshakes hahaha,” he said. On last week’s Throwback Thursday, he shared an old photo of himself where he could be seen sipping a tall glass of milkshake. He is sitting in a restaurant booth, where several other milkshake glasses are visible on the table in front of him.

A month ago, he chose to return to social media by sharing a photo of himself enjoying a pulled pork sandwich in Malibu beach. He had been posting sporadically over the past couple of years, but he frequently deletes his posts just hours or days after sharing them.

His elusiveness has been widely attributed to the weight that he has gained in recent years. The issue has been a constant topic on episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” where he no longer appears on screen.

According to E News, the reclusive star is now working hard on his health and fitness. "For the first time in a long time Rob is committed to changing his diet habits," revealed a source. He has also hired a chef to help him plan his nutritional intake.

Apart from nutrition, Rob has also been back into working out. His sister Kim Kardashian has been very vocal in recent weeks about how they have been working out together. Kim is currently pregnant with her second child. Due to several complications during her first pregnancy, she is also determined to stay healthy and fit this time around.

Celebrity fitness guru Gunner Peterson, who works other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, has also been working with Rob. “His regimen involves more than just cardio and weights," revealed the source.

It remains to be seen if Rob will be making a comeback when “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” resumes airing season 10. The show is scheduled to return in November, only on E.
