Rita Ora and Charli XCX almost got killed in a near-fatal accident. Charli XCX admitted that she crashed their pink Barbie truck on a desert video shoot and narrowly escaped with their lives.

Rita Ora and Charli XCX have collaborated for a new track called "Doing It," wherein they shot the promotional video on a desert. On one of the scenes, the two had to hop into a pink truck and Charli drove. However, Metro reported that things did not go smoothly during the shoot because Charli crashed the Barbie truck.

The truck was so old that they could have died on the accident, the singer herself said to Metro. "I nearly killed both of us on the set by crashing this Barbie truck into the middle of the desert," she said. She added that there were no air bags to help them avoid the impact. She described the old truck as a "death trap." Charli XCX said however that they made it out alive with a great promotional video to show for it. Rita's camp on the other hand, has not yet confirmed the news.

This adds to the buzz about "Doing It," which started since it was announced. According to Mail Online UK, "Doing It" is the third single from Charli XCX's third album, "Sucker," which was released last month in the US. However, a new remix version of it performed by Charli XCX and Rita Ora was planned and approved by Atlantic Records/Asylum/Neon Gold as a gift for the UK fans because they would have to wait longer to get "Sucker" into their hands. Charli XCX announced these to the fans herself, saying because they have to wait until Feb. 16. in order to buy "Sucker," they can get one with this remix track well as a bonus track included. Under this remix version, Rita Ora would be singing the second verse instead of Charli XCX.

Both Charli XCX and Rita Ora have their respective busy careers. Charli XCX is set to support Katy Perry on her "Primsatic" European tour on February. She would also perform at the New York's Governors Ball music festival in June. On the other hand, Rita is part of the fourth series of the Voice UK, would airs regularly on Saturday night.
