“B---h Better Have My Money” singer Rihanna, 27, used to own an 8,520 square foot pad in Beverly Hills, California. The Barbadian singer moved out in 2011 and recently, the new owners of the house are soon-to-be parents John Legend, 37, and Chrissy Teigen, 30.

Legend and Teigen apparently wanted to move to a new house before the birth of their first child and they wanted their new US$14 million (AU$20 million) home in Beverly Hills to look more modern. While the mansion previously owned by Rihanna already has a gym, a theatre and a billiard room, the couple added their own renovation plans.

After leaving the Beverly Hills mansion, Rihanna bought a 11,000 square foot house in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. In 2014, she also rented an US$8 million (AU$11.44 million) pad in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.

On Jan. 8, Friday, Legend told Entertainment Tonight that he and Teigen are trying to get their new house ready before his wife gives birth to their baby. “I don't know if we're gonna get done in time, but we're gonna live in a house that's at least, you know, 90 percent finished by the time baby's here,” he said.

Meanwhile, the “All of Me” singer recently revealed some details about Teigen’s pregnancy cravings and the name they want to give their new baby. In an interview with E! News, the singer said his wife has been craving for Hooters wings recently and joked that she ordered Postmates and did not even go to the restaurant.

Legend also revealed that they have yet to come up with a final name for their baby. He said they have a new name every day but they keep on changing their minds.

In the same interview, Legend also talked about what type of father he will be if he had a baby girl. He pointed out that he does not believe that girls have to be protected by men and be deprived of their own sexual identity and freedom.

According to Legend, putting a girl “in a cage” is not a good idea. For him, children should “grow up with good values and respect themselves” and learn from the mistakes they commit.
