Rihanna is embracing her Barbadian heritage by celebrating the Crop Over Kadooment Day in skimpy white bejewelled bikini. The 25-year-old singer was a vision in white as she walked and twerked during the summer street carnival celebration on Monday.

The Grammy Award-winning songstress went back to her hometown and partied with her fellow Bajans in fake jewel beads and feathers. She risked a nip slip and other possible wardrobe malfunctions, though, with the really scanty costume, which protected her modesty with just a few strategically placed beads.

Crop Over is Barbados’ annual harvest festival, and Kadooment Day is the culmination of the celebration. As Rihanna just demonstrated, it is celebrated with a massive parade and summer street carnival, with the people in lively, albeit flimsy, costumes.

Meanwhile, it seems that the love-hate relationship between Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown isn’t over yet. Well, at least the hate part isn’t.

The two have been tweeting about seemingly innocent things like love and relationship, but fans know that their tweets were about each other.

“I hate when exes say, ‘I’m here if you need me.’ Where the f*** were you when we were together and I needed you?” Rihanna wrote in July, which she has since deleted.

Chris also had a cryptic message of his own, writing on Monday, “How do you build a house without a foundation???? Friendship brings thte trust and love stronger. U have to like a person to love them!”

Seemingly in response, Rihanna posted a sexy photo of her in white bikini on Instagram
