A media storm erupted when Renée Zellweger recently made a public appearance while looking dramatically different. Many immediately reached to conclusion that the 45-year-old actress had undergone plastic surgery procedure.

Renee called the speculations "silly" and said that the transformation is the result of "happy" and "fulfilled" life, according to People. However, the buzz has it that the "Bridget Jones' Diary's" actress is "devastated" by the criticism and thinks that it may affect her relationship with boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II. "She's crushed by the backlash and her confidence has taken a knock. After the talk about her looks she's also worried Doyle could be put off," a source told Closer magazine as reported by Independent.

It has been further reported by the magazine that Renee thinks it's "unfair" that she has been made the target when there are plethora of people in the industry who may have undergone cosmetic enhancement surgeries, according to the website.

Renee has been dating Doyle for a while. The two began dating in 2012 and have been spotted spending quality time with each other on many occasions. They recently stepped out to do some shopping in Mississippi on October 27, according to report by Just Jared.

Meanwhile, Renee was recently seen sporting a brunette wig while shooting for a film called "Same Kind of Different As Me." She was dressed in a vintage maxi dress for a film scene. The film is based on the book of same name written by Denver Moore and Ron Hall. The film tells a story of an art dealer who becomes friends with a homeless man (Hounsou) in order to save his struggling relationship with his wife. Greg Kinnear plays the art dealer and Renee plays his wife.

Though the release date for the film is yet to be announced, the film has generated much hype due to Renee's changed looks. The film is a directional debut of Michael Carney who is also the executive producer the film. He has even co-written the screenplay with Ron Hall and Alexander Foard.

Renee is making a comeback with a film after gap of two years. She was last seen in 2010 in "My Own Love Song."
