Reilly Mboumba is the bold and beautiful delegate from the comparatively rich Western African country of Gabon, representing her nation at Miss International 2013 pageant. Africa, despondently, is one continent that is always affronted at the Miss International setting. No black African has placed in the winners' circle in Miss International pageant since its inception in 1960. For more than five decades, pageant enthusiasts have been look forward to year in and year out to see a black African being accepted and recognized in the contest but always end up disappointed.

Reilly is very resolute to break that hex, and being one of the contestants who was crowned earlier, she has the benefit of being the most prepared prior to the contest. She is also an dynamic campaigner of saving the street children of Gabon, and giving them the chance to live a respectable life. Undeniably this woman is determined and very serious with her job as a beauty queen and a role model in her nation.

Reilly Mboumba is a first year law student at Omor Bongo University, in Libreville Gabon. Her hobbies are drawing, singing, dancing and listening to music. She is the 2nd from a family of nine children. Her family is known by the name "makaya" which means "the leaves" or the "the poor". She used to stand up and defend my brothers and sisters from the age of five from bullies and In junior high school, this behavior became more evident, to the point that her teachers would call Mboumba, "the devil's advocate". because of this she felt that she should become a lawyer.

"If there is one thing I am characterized by, it is the fact that I am a girl who strongly keeps on believing! The Bible declares "happy is the one who believes without seeing. Even better, the one who resides under the skin of what he is wishing for." Take for example a woman who wishes to have a child. It would be better for her to take on the attitude of a pregnant woman to make her wish come true! In short: I don't think that I am the next Miss International, but instead, I know that I am the next Miss International! I am open to others, I try to understand other's thoughts, and always listen to someone else's advice. This desire in life that I have inside me is something that I love to share to other people as well. Being the next Miss International would be, for me, an opportunity to alert the whole word about one problem I am very sensitive about: children living in the streets. Just like a Christian believe in God, I believe that it is time for me to set up a solidarity network that will save and change the life of many children. Aren't children supposed to be one." nation's future? So I am sending a call, if you judge that I am worthy for this title then the ball is in your court, because there is nothing better than having a beauty queen close to her people! You, the public, you are the best judge. I love you." She said when asked about her winning potential as Miss International 2013 in an interview with missosology.org.
