Reese Witherspoon has a lot on her plate right now. Apart from gearing up for her much awaited film 'Wild', which is gathering praises from all quarters in Toronto International Film Festival, the 38-year-old actress and producer is also anticipated to shift her base soon.

Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth had reportedly purchased a new home in Los Angeles. As per reports, the couple purchased the Pacific Palisades estate for a whooping $12.5 million. The place was previously owned and built by none other than the famous architect Ken Ungar.

The house is an epitome of luxury in itself, as well as located in one of the poshest area of the city. Witherspoon will have Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner as their new next door neighbors while Matt Damon, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are also said to be living in the vicinity.

The house is a piece of Spanish architecture and has been for sale since earlier this year. As reported by Daily Mail, the estate is stretched to approximately 4,344 square feet. The place has five bedrooms and five bathrooms along with a game room fitted with a billiards table.

The house is quite spacious and airy, as well as features several common areas. It is designed in a way that allows maximum natural light to enter the house. One of the living rooms hasa semicircular wall forming one side with just windows. This design lets the couple enjoy the scenic beauty outside from inside their home.

The house's most attractive quality is its lush green surroundings. The most unique feature of the house is the stone-lined pool in the backyard, which shows the breathtaking view of the neighboring areas in Palisades. To date, no further information has been revealed with respect to the date Witherspoon and Toth will move in to their new home and out of their present Brentwood home.

On the professional front, Reese Witherspoon is handling quite a handful with several projects lined up for release this year. Her upcoming flick 'Wild' and 'The Good Lie' received so much positive response in its premier at Toronto International Film festival that critics are already hinting at an Oscars win for the actress.
