To have the right chemistry is the secret to casting romantic pairs for the movies. But sometimes, the element of chemistry becomes so realistic that the on-screen pair develops into a real-life love affair.

With Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz becoming newlywed stars after working together in the recent film "Dream House," we feature several more-on screen couples who then became real life partners.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. After portraying the lead roles for "Mr and Mrs Smith" in 2007, it has been controversial whether they have gotten together after or before Pitt divorced Jennifer Aniston. The couple is still going strong up to now.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. They fell in love while working for "Days of Thunder" in 1990 and appeared in two more films as a couple, "Far and Away" and "Eyes Wide Shut." But they divorced in 2001. They are not both happily married with other celebrities.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. It is still not easy to detect whether the young love that budded from this team up started with "Twilight" or by the time the second movie of the series, "New Moon" was made. But what is clear is that something else is happening between these two stars.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. These two have already worked together in the 1990s but reunited for Woody Allen's "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." They eventually got married and now have their first child.

Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger. They met while filming "Brokeback Mountain" and since then romance certainly developed. Their daughter's name is Matilda but they broke up in 2007 after two years of being together. Heath passed away in 2008 and even if they were already apart then, she still was badly broken-hearted with the news of the passing.
