Kate Middleton is still far from becoming the next queen of England. Prince Charles is still next in line to become king before Prince William, Kate's husband, gets to sit on the throne. However, this rule of succession supposedly didn't stop people from voting who would be the better monarch between Camilla Parker-Bowles and the Duchess of Cambridge. The latter reportedly is a better candidate compared to Camilla.

Kdramastars cited a YouGov poll that supposedly showed how Kate Middleton is favoured as a better future queen compared to Prince Charles' wife, Camilla-Parker Bowles. The said poll reportedly revealed a 16 percent vote for Camilla while 60 percent chose the Duchess of Cambridge as suited to become the next monarch of England. According to the site, the poll's results dictate that instead of being called queen, Camilla-Parker Bowles supposedly deserves to be called as Princess Consort when Prince Charles becomes King.

Few Camilla supporters have supposedly turned their backs against her for having an "affair" with Prince Charles while he was still married to the late Princess Diana. However, it is said that they have not shifted their vote for Prince Charles to become king. But according to the site, 58 percent of the poll's participants admitted Prince William would also make a better monarch. These participants are believed to be those who have close connections with the late Princess Di.

However, Prince William's future as next king of England depends on his father's decision. After all, Prince Charles is next in line to be the next monarch after Queen Elizabeth abdicates her title as queen. According to the International Business Times, early preparations have already been made to secure Charles' rightful place on the throne.

As early as January, royal changes were undertaken within the palace walls. Prince Charles staff was said to have been relocated to Buckingham Palace to merge with Queen Elizabeth's staff. According to the site, even Charles' royal aid, Sally Osman, became media chief for the entire royal household. The queen has also passed on some of her royal duties to her son to prepare him for his impending succession to the British throne. Kate Middleton and Prince William were reportedly also entrusted with royal duties by the Queen. However, this supposedly doesn't mean the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are soon going to be the next king and queen of England.
